I definitely need someone to help with the admin duties -- at least the regular accepting of work but occasional features and journal entries are good too! I just have a lot going on -- but most of it is positive now! I have completed my Ph.D. in cellular biology and have excepted an exciting position in research!

If you would be willing to take on a leadership role in this group, please let me know! And if there are changes that you would like to make with that, I'd love to hear them. :)

The contest had to be cancelled due to lack of participants. Perhaps it is too long after DAI came out or perhaps scheduling it around the holidays was not the best idea.

After the Exalted Council CONTEST OPEN

Journal Entry: Sat Oct 8, 2016, 4:42 PM
Theme: After the Exalted Council
What does the Inquisitor do after the Exalted Council? Do they try to find Solas? Have they started a new life with one they love? Do they have perhaps non-canon plans they would pursue? Your piece can depict the Inquisitor right after the conclusion of the Exalted Council and the fate of the Inquisition is decided or years or decades later. While a piece merely showing your inquisitor with their love interest, for example, is okay, the goal is to really make it your own -- what does the piece tell us about their relationship and the unique story that is your game or head canon?

Looking for help improving the look of the group: I would love to customize the look of the group -- both the galleries and the journal and not use a skin made for another group -- but I haven't the time to figure out CSS. If you have the knowledge, time and interest, please contact me and we can discuss options, compensation, etc.

HELP ALL THE GROUPS ON DA

All you have to do is "Like" the following post:

deviantart.zendesk.com/entries…

If you are an admin in another group, please post this in your group as well!

We need about 200+ votes to bring this important issue to the first page.

What is this about? In brief, Deviant Art suddenly and without warning has placed a limit on EVERYONE of 10 submissions per day per group. I think that is more than enough for most members of most groups but should NOT be a limit on founders and group admin. We spend time looking for artwork to promote and that we think you would enjoy seeing. Not every request gets accepted, most often due to inactivity, and it is not our work that creates groups that spam but rather those that have unlimited submissions for everyone (perhaps you have been in such groups before and know what I mean). But there were already solutions for this: Admin can set limits on submissions and if they do not, you can always leave or unwatch a group. This action on the part of Deviant Art was arbitrary and done without warning -- I literally discovered it the day after I spent $60 of my own money to make this group a supergroup again.
Btw, if you artwork is requested by someone named Dirae, that is me -- just a second account I created because of this nonsense. :paranoid:

Next posting will be a feature and have a nice journal skin but for now, just getting the word out! Please help and thank you!

Submissions

Thanks to all of you who submit your lovely artworks! :blowkiss: I hope that you will submit your artwork to this group if you would like it to be included -- thanks to Deviant Art's new global submission limit, I am no longer able to request many pieces for the group. :( I have updated the Guidelines if you are unclear on where artwork should be submitted, but it is not a real problem if you submit it to the wrong folder -- so long as you submit it to the gallery! I have seen some artwork submitted to the Stock Photos collection. Works submitted to Favourites cannot be moved into the Gallery but must be resubmitted.
:work:

Speaking of which, I invite you to take a look through our collection of Stock Photos for reference and inspiration and our collection of Writing Tutorials for helpful guides to the many aspects of writing fiction.

Stories

Readers -- we want to help you find stories you'll love! Writers -- we want to help your stories be seen! If you have a story with six or more chapters, let me know and I'll create a sub-folder in the Stories folder for it and can include a description, teaser or intro and artwork you may have for your story. All writers, please send a note with your story title, link to the first chapter, main pairing (if romance is a focus) and a one line description or what makes your story unique. I will be putting together a list/guide to Dragon Age fan fiction. :reading:

A big thank you to Arlesienne for joining Dragon-Age and starting her Writers in the Spotlight joint feature with Thedas-in-love! :tighthug:
